Chester

English city close to the northern border of Wales, Chester is a charming and pleasant place with a mix of Medieval and Victorian architechture. It mainly built its wealth during the industrial revolution.

Surrounded by a fortified wall, Chester will satisfy the passionate photographers as you will find a good mix of English architecture (medieval, and, of course, the red bricks).

There will be no doubt that you are in England with its traditional pubs, men suit taylors, and more. It also offers a variety of interesting restaurants like The Botanist decorated in an original way, mix of old barn in a creative interpretation.

One particularity of Chester pedestrian center is this two level street, with a a gangway running through the medieval buildings and where we can find shops and restaurants. So, if you want ot see it all, you have to do it twice.

It also has a nice 13th Century Cathedral in the typical Church of England style with its square tower.

Should not be forgotten is the proximity of one the legendary English football clubs, Liverpool FC.
